November 2023 - December 2025. "Anthology on Spanish far-right" is a visual document on far-right mindsets in Spain through the lens of historical memory, myths, nationalism, traditionalism, media, etc. For almost a year, I have been traveling around Spain to document how these ideas manifest themselves in different ways: the cult towards the old empire; Ultra-Catholics; nostalgics for the Franco regime; revised historical reenactments; military boot camps that teach minors discipline and nationalism; disinformation actors and their consumers; the new far-right and their schools of thought. The work aims to document a Spain that I feel completely alien, a Spain based on nationalism, nativism and excluding ideas, a Spain that can be present everywhere and of which anyone can be susceptible. I didn’t want to only cover the matter just a traditional politicial issue, but as a state of mind that impregnates a lot of aspects of Spanish life. Documenting stories requires me to travel to different points of Spain, in this ongoing project I have already been in Seville, Cádiz, Madrid, Barcelona, Tarragona, Vitoria, or Valencia. In this aspect, the funds provided by the scholarship could be really important for the development of the project and covering part of these travel expenses. My goals are: Producing 20 new images. Producing a 28 page zine printed in newspaper paper. Making 5 prints. Producing a 2.000 text accompanying the work. Gallery exhibition in Seville.
