Full Title: If life is a video game, the graphics are great, but the plot is confusing & the tutorial is way too long. Start: December 01, 2025 End: May 31, 2026 I seek support to advance my diploma project, first exhibited in June 2025 at ECAL. The work critically examines Musk’s cultural presence—as entrepreneur, symbol, and spectacle—through speculative imagery and layered installation. The next stage will involve creating new scenes and symbolic objects in Blender, which I will physically produce, stage, and rephotograph using large-format analogue techniques. While Musk remains a central figure, the project will broaden to include other geopolitical and cultural conflicts. The focus is less on the spectacle itself and more on imagining the worldview behind it—how men of power perceive the planet as a vast game board, its territories, resources, and populations as movable pieces within their strategies. For the application, I am uploading three images from the current project alongside several from earlier, more distant works. Planned is the production of five additional images, which will be shown in an upcoming exhibition in Vevey—an opportunity made possible by a prize I received for my diploma (Images Vevey). Moreover, I want to use the opportunity to further develop the integration of own modelled objects, work on the lightning and style of composition, include more variety into the images and trying to make them more timeless.
