[Synopsis]: Being a neighbour of Russia, under the shadow of the soviet legacy and the Russia-Ukraine war, young people are trying to be agents of change for society to reshape their future. [Description]: This project focuses on the Latvian young generation, who are actively shaping the country’s future amid unstable geopolitical situations with Russia, which has been at war with Ukraine for the third consecutive year. The young Latvian generation is addressing identity challenges in various ways, including bridging social divides stemming from the Soviet legacy, tackling the mental health crisis, advocating for gender equality, and engaging with national security.
